Nesco Resource is looking for 2nd Shift Material Handlers in Danbury, CT. This position is temp to hire for the right candidate.
Schedule is as follows : Monday- Friday, 3 : 30 PM to 12 : 00 AM.
Job Description :
The material handler will be in charge of moving materials with a forklift, creating labels for shipping / receiving, removing cardboard, assembling and reassembling racks, tracking inventory for the buyer and planner and packing actuators as needed.
Positon is in the warehouse / logistics team and will report directly to the warehouse manager.
Job Responsibilities :
- Complete all assigned duties. Will be measured by the following :
- Moving material in and out of palette racks with forklift.
- Moving required materials with forklift to assembly team.
- Creating labels for sub assembly using Microsoft Word.
- Removing waste cardboard and lumber to dumpsters.
- Assembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves.
- Taking inventory counts.
Job Requirements :
- Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of scales and weigh counts.
- Must have adequate reading and writing skills to create and read labels.
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
