Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite developer with a background in NetSuite administration to join the team. This position will be responsible for all aspects of NetSuite administration, troubleshooting, workflow automation, scripting, integrations and other customizations as needed.

The successful candidate will have the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and work independently to develop custom solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom scripts, workflows, and solutions within the NetSuite environment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Customize and configure NetSuite modules to align with business processes, including revenue recognition.
  • Develop SuiteScript 1.0 / 2.0 scripts to automate processes and enhance system functionalities.
  • Integrate NetSuite with third-party applications using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and other integration tools.
  • Perform data migrations, system configurations, and manage data integrity within the NetSuite platform.
  • Support the Business Intelligence team by coordinating the implementation of new fields and records.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party NetSuite contractors and SuiteApp vendors.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for NetSuite-related issues.
  • Monitor & administer integrations, roles and access, profile creation, security administration, etc.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all NetSuite customizations and configurations, including pre-existing customizations.
  • Stay updated with NetSuite updates, releases, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
  • Experience working with NetSuite support and managing tickets in the support center.
  • Customize NetSuite forms via the advanced HTML editor.
  • Create and process csv imports and mass updates as needed to support the business.
  • Develop custom saved searches and custom reports

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in NetSuite development and administration.
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.0), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.
  • Experience with integrating NetSuite with other applications using APIs.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite's standard and custom functionalities.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, SuiteQL, HTML, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP processes such as financials, order management, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
