Duties :
- Manage various business immigration cases, including H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, TN, EB-1, EB-2, and PERM petitions.
- Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to clients regarding employment-based immigration processes.
- Prepare and file petitions, responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), and other legal documentation.
- Represent clients before USCIS, the Department of Labor, and other relevant government agencies.
- Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate closely with HR departments, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
- Maintain detailed case records and ensure timely client communication.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in business immigration law.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, particularly in employment-based immigration.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
Certifications :
Active law license in good standing.
Skills :
- Expertise in employment-based immigration matters, including visa petitions and compliance.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in immigration case management software (preferred).
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities (preferred but not required).
