Our Anchorage Regional Office is looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager! This person will oversee, support, and guide Managers, Food and Beverage to enhance efficiency and performance in the day-to-day operations, as well as the guest experience and product development which will involve tracking and coordinating product pricing and purchasing.
The F and B Manager will also audit the policies and procedures of the food and beverage department and develop procedures and controls to generate business and meet the Companys customer satisfaction and financial goals.
Will assist in training the Food and Beverage staff and carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the Companys policies, objectives, and applicable government laws and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- In collaboration with onsite General Managers, monitors the performance of all F&B management to ensure their duties and services are carried out in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Establishes pricing and track products usage for food and paper products by auditing menus, specifications, and costs.
- Supports the recruiting efforts for all F&B positions, with a focus on building and sustaining culinary relationships and resources.
- Regularly oversees relevant communication on performance and development between HAP and HAL business partners.
- Develops and maintains all F&B policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensures operational adherence to policies, procedures and best practices through regular visits and audits.
- Oversees all F&B environmental compliance and sustainability program policies and procedures.
- Monitors and analyzes financial and guest satisfaction reports.
- Assist local divisions with training in HACCP, TAMS, ServeSafe, and customer service standards.

Requirements :
This job requires a professional level of knowledge in food and beverage equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of a Bachelors degree.
Demonstration of directly related work experience, which has provided an equivalent breadth, and depth of knowledge may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
- This job normally requires four years of progressively responsible positions. Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required.
- Proficiency in the use of computer business applications. Working knowledge of computerized restaurant point-of-service (POS) systems preferred.
- Ability to comply with company safety and health requirements.
- Ability to clearly communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management and customers.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required.
- TAPs and ServSafe Certified
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must have or the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers card.
- Must have or the ability to obtain an Alaska alcohol server card.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized point of sales (POS) systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
- Must be able to work beyond normal business hours and / or weekends to support business needs, projects or operations.
- Must be able to travel up to 75% during the summer season, 25% during the off-season.
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time including regular movement throughout PCL and HAL facilities.
- Must have the ability to prioritize and organize workload, maintain attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines.
Must be able to supervise and manage staff while working collaboratively in a team or group environment.
- The ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, management, and staff.
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
