The Regional General Manager (RGM) is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the West Region. The RGM is tasked with driving business growth, maximizing profitability, and ensuring operational excellence.
This role involves guiding and mentoring teams, setting and achieving performance targets, and maintaining high standards of compliance with regulatory and company policies.
A successful RGM will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record of managing people and operations, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential for success in this role. The RGM is expected to drive revenue growth while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and operational integrity.
Regional Manager Responsibilities :
- Lead region in profitable sales growth and organizational efficiency (i.e., eliminates non-value-added work and redundancies, controls costs and carefully coordinates with other areas and corporate).
- Achieving business goals and revenue targets through executing on company strategy and pursuing opportunities, new customers, new products, and related market potential.
- Responsible for the retention of existing customer and leading a sales approach focused on higher margin and value-added services.
- Planning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
- Responsible for achieving all financial targets for their region, preparing short-term forecasts, annual budgets, and customer profitability analysis aligned with the long-term strategic focus of the business.
- Responsible for building a cohesive team dedicated to advancing TW Metals vision and supporting employee development through coaching and performance management.
- Develop a culture of safety ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
- Ensure company standards and procedures are followed.
Regional Manager Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a similar field preferred.
- 5+ years of sales management and leadership experience in metal industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively present information to groups, employees, customers and managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Business Acumen.
