Job Summary

The IT Administrator is responsible for supporting the stable operation of the organization's desktop and Azure infrastructure, including effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange Cloud environments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Serves as 1st level support for desktop, Access issues and User creations / deactivations.
• Experience administering and supporting Active Directory and Office 365.
• Monitors, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, Office 365 and Exchange issues via ticket system.
• Monitors the performance of computer systems and networks, and coordinates computer network access and use.
• Follows runbooks or independently resolves reliability issues within the infrastructure.
• Documentation of existing and future infrastructure.
• Document, track, and monitor changes to ensure proper resolution.
• Provide on-call and or after-hours support as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or described by IT Manager

Qualifications & Education / certification requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Windows, MacOS, Linux and Azure Entra (Active Directory)
• Experience with cloud-based Microsoft O365 Administration.
• Technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
• Preferred certifications include, Microsoft Certifications, Networking Certifications, CompTIA A+ Certification &CompTIA Security+ (or other Information Security Training)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
