Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided :
24-bay emergency department
60 acute inpatient beds
4 operating rooms
Level 1 cardiac capability
Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing
Attached MOB
The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for :
Primary Care
Neurology
Cardiology
Vascular
Other independent specialists
Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.
This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St.
Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the Department :
Mount Carmel Dublin's Emergency Department will operate in 24 beds with a mixture of adult and pediatric patients with a variety of medical conditions.
The ED will provide access to patients in one of the fastest growing regions in the state of Ohio. We envision a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on exceptional patient experience while delivering evidence-based care.

About the job :
The Registered Nurse (RN) , within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
The Staff RN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.
What you will do :
Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence based practice; Assists provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments;
Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a provider, including set up of procedures.
Administer medications under the direction of the provider, according to the organization’s standards, policies, procedures, and / or guidelines.
Assist in emergency situations under the direction of the provider
Thoroughly educate and explain procedures to patients and family members (diagnosis, disease process etc.).
Document accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and / or guidelines.
Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care givers as appropriate.
What we are looking for :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
Current BLS / CPR
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team
Basic computer skills required; prior experience using an EMR for charting preferred
