Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill the position for a direct hire Quality Inspector opening with a company located in Brooklyn Park, MN.
Interested candidates should have previous at least 6-months of Quality Inspection experience, read and follow work instructions, and be comfortable using Microsoft Office : Excel, Work, Outlook.
Quality Inspector Job Description :
- Perform final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform in-process inspections during production.
- Document all instances of rejected products or raw material problems.
- Inspect incoming raw materials as they are received.
- Document appropriate information for quality inspection report for each order.
- Create and maintain current files for all quality-related correspondence.
- Report any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to management.
- Suggest new testing or inspection methods to minimize the inspection efforts required.
- Train coworkers in quality control concepts as requested.
- Perform necessary maintenance of equipment as needed.
- Remain current on quality practices and trends through publications, seminars, training and conferences.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Quality Inspector Job Requirement :
- High School Degree or GED
- Prior related experience is preferred
- Oral and written communication skills
- Math aptitude
- Attention to detail, organization and planning skills
- Time and project management ability
- Computer and keyboard literacy
Compensation for Quality Inspector :
The starting salary for the Quality Inspector position is $18-$20 an hour.
