Qualifications :
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida!
Position Responsibilities :
Assists in the development and deployment of internal / external process improvements, organization initiatives and projects / procurement activities.
Assists with the maintenance of processes and systems.
Utilizes procurement / planning systems to ensure planning, validation, and maintaining of all requirements for procurement analysis.
Supports the coordination and tracking of action items and metrics, supplier management procedures for planning, procurement plans, shortage mitigation, schedule validation, self-governance, and inventory analysis.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Shift Work :
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements :
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.
F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
1+ years of experience in Supplier Management / Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
1+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
1+ years of experience with data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent experience).
Experience with shortage analysis.
Experience working in a team environment.
Experience being organized with strong time-management skills.
Typical Education / Experience :
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.
g. 4 years' related work experience).
Relocation :
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel :
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary Pay Range : $54,400 - $67,200
