We are extending an opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist based in Cedar Park, Texas, United States. The role primarily involves applying payments to customer accounts in the Stone / Glass / Concrete Manufacturing industry.
This is a long-term contract employment opportunity where the selected candidate will be expected to resolve discrepancies, manage customer invoices, and handle payments reconciliation among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities :
- Apply payments received in lockbox to customer accounts efficiently and accurately.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) and cash applications.
- Engage in payment processing and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain and update customer account records regularly to ensure they are current.
- Resolve any discrepancies that may arise in customer accounts.
- Manage customer invoices and ensure they are issued and processed in a timely manner.
- Conduct payments reconciliation regularly to ensure all payments are accounted for.
- Utilize the lock box system effectively for customer payments.
- Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in Cash Applications
- Ability to Resolve Discrepancies in financial records
- Experience in handling Customer Invoices
- Capable of managing Customer Account
- Experience in Payments Reconciliation
- Knowledge of Lock Box operations
- Proficient in Payment Processing tasks
- Experience in the Stone / Glass / Concrete Manufacturing industry is preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
