This role will be the US Customer Marketing lead for Vaccines, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing for US Vaccines.
This person will play a critical role in strategy development and execution of customer-centric solutions with a focus on IDN (Integrated Delivery Networks) / Systems, Retail Marketing and Public Marketing, including CDC (Centers for Disease Control & Prevention) commercial engagement.
In this role you will be accountable to drive US strategy and execution, to lead a team of US marketers plus a team of cross-functional stakeholders, and to maximize ambition.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of US marketing strategy development and execution, people leadership and commercial goal attainment.

Key Responsibilities :
Partnering with US Brand and Customer Facing commercial teams
Overseeing creation and implementation of the strategic and operating plans
Setting direction and ensuring strategic alignment across functional stakeholder groups
Defining metrics & assessing performance
Achieving annual VBU sales targets
Leading / developing a high performing team of marketing directors / managers / associates
Maintaining detailed understanding of customer segments and competitive marketplace
Defining customer insights, journeys, and segmentation; GSK positioning; creative strategy, core messaging and content plans;
integrated, cross channel promotional mix for Customer segments
Fostering an environment of innovation, inclusion, challenge, trust and development
Essential attributes for the role include ability to :
Demonstrate an understanding of channels, pricing, and market access strategies
Develop strategy, particularly in complex and novel environments
Drive market and brand opportunity analysis and develops actionable brand insights
Recognize trade-offs and makes adjustments as needed; prioritizes short / long-term needs
Define, track, analyze key performance measures and make data-driven decisions
Prioritize, pivot, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Influence at all levels & build strong relationships in a matrix environment
Demonstrate sense of ownership for the shared success of the team and asset
Drive culture of trust, respect, transparency, and accountability
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years commercial management experience, inclusive of a minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing
3+ years’ experience in direct people management including second line leader experience of groups in sales, marketing, or operations
Experience in US healthcare brand and / or customer marketing
Experience developing & executing brand marketing plans
Preferred Qualifications :
6+ years marketing experience
Vaccines experience strongly preferred
Broad commercial experience, including : Brand lifecycle managementSenior leader engagementMatrix team leadershipCategory / disease and product strategy developmentTactical plan development / execution, including integrated channel mixCustomer insight, Messaging, campaign, creative developmentAgency managementBudget management; P&L ownership
