We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our client's team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping and packaging procedures and familiarity with warehouse operations.
Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and maintain accurate records
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing items securely for transport
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and forklifts to move materials
- Perform regular stock checks and assist in maintaining organized warehouse space
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in shipping processes
Requirements :
- Prior experience in a shipping and receiving role preferredsuch as FEDEX & UPS
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and MRP software-Computer Literacy
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and forklifts safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of e-commerce shipping practices is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Types : Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay : From $14.50 per hour
