Join Velocity Vehicle Group as a Body Shop Painter! You'll specialize in painting trucks involved in collisions, executing fiberglass work, and performing full-body restorations.

Responsibilities include maintaining tools, communicating repair needs, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating effectively with team members.

Job Duties :

• Perform painting services for trucks involved in collisions
• Execute fiberglass work as required
• Conduct full body restorations when needed
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe condition
• Alert Manager of additional repairs or any issues that may impact work quality or deadlines
• Operate all tools and equipment safely and in compliance with regulations
• Wear necessary safety gear and follow protocols for handling hazardous materials
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient truck repairs
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing body shop operations

Job Qualifications & Requirements :

• Minimum of five years' experience as a body shop technician
• Certification as a PPG Painter preferred
• Proficiency with a wide range of tools and equipment used in truck assessment and repair
• Ability to maneuver hands and arms freely to work with small parts and tight spaces
• Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
• Critical thinking skills to assess damages and determine repair strategies

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and lift.

Compensation :

$30-$35 / hourly depending on skills and qualifications
