PHARMACY
Pharmacy Technician Entry
Novant Health is seeking an entry level Pharmacy Tech, to join our pharmacy team, to deliver optimal medication management across all dimensions of care, every time.

Essential functions include :
- Fill medication orders under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
- Answer and triage telephone calls and transferring calls to a pharmacist when appropriate
- Support shipping of medications by preparing supplies and ensuring ice packs are re-stocked
- Use point-of-sale to support customer service needs
- Demonstrate proficiency with equipment and software.

Qualifications
- Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
- Experience : Prior healthcare experience, preferred.
- Licensure / Certification : Registry with applicable State Board(s) of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire upon completion of pharmacy training program as specified by NH, required.
- Additional Skills (required) : Considerable knowledge and application of basic math skills (including ratio and proportion relationships), strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic technology skills. Other duties as outline in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive / travel to multiple facilities / locations as needed.
Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
