Responsibilities and Duties : Collaborate with system architectures and other IT specialists in developing and implementing IT solutions related to security controls, configuration of server settings, and network settingsProvide expert guidance in system infrastructure design and implementationProvide server administration by upgrading OS software, software components to new versions, and utility software such as anti-virus applications using the FBI’s change management processCoordinate with FBI organizations to resolve major system issues, to include production outages or the degradation of critical system capabilities that affect core usageEnsure the implementation and maintenance of security controls in accordance with the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and FBI policiesDevelop and maintain technical documentation for enterprise systems to include System Design Documents, System Concept of Operations, and System Operations & Maintenance Manuals, and Interface Control DocumentsProvide expertise in operating and managing Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud environmentsSecurity vulnerabilities are addressed as they are identifiedSystem configurations are updated to reflect new security requirements and policiesSystems comply with FBI and Federal guidelines for security classification markingsProvide further system security support by ensuring security features and controls are implemented, authentication and identity management, password management, privileged user access and management, and encryption usageInterface with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and other FBI business units in addressing system risks and vulnerabilitiesCollaborate with the ISSO in providing documentation and test results in achieving Authority to Test (ATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals for new information system infrastructure Requirements : Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance2+ years of experience operating and maintaining complex system architectures, applications, and frameworksProven track record working with Windows IT systems and applicationsProficient in implementing solutions regarding system security vulnerabilitiesAWS or Azure administrative cloud management regarding cloud security, cloud architecture and design, troubleshooting, and cloud deploymentTroubleshooting system architecture defects and implementing solutions in a fast pace environmentProgramming and scripting experience with JavaScript, HTML, Python, etcStrong understanding of the DOJ Enterprise Architecture or DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) equivalent, with experience developing associated architecture artifactsExperience deploying architecture, defining requirements, conducting business process analysis, or similar disciplinesExperience with data query using PostgreSQL Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related disciplineCompTIA A+CompTIA Network+CompTIA Security+CompTIA Cloud+Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)CISCO Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) Due to the nature of the work we support, all candidates in consideration for this role must be U.
