Shifts-

• 1st shift- 7am-4pm, Mon-Thu
• 2nd shift-4 : 00pm- 2 : 30am, Mon-Thu
• 3rd shift - 6 : 00AM-6 : 00PM, Fri-Sun

Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and shop orders to determine welding requirements.
• Select and set up appropriate welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) for various materials and thicknesses.
• Safely and efficiently perform various welding techniques (butt welds, fillet welds, lap welds, etc.) according to specifications.
• Inspect welds visually and with measuring tools to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Perform basic weld repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Experience working with different types of metals (steel, aluminum, etc.).
• Strong understanding of welding safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols.
