Job Description

Overview

With customer service as a priority, helpers will assist drivers with the delivery and installation of residential and office furnishings within the agreed upon time frame and in accordance with the lease agreement.

Potential to grow into a delivery driver position!!

Pay for this position starts at $18 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the inspection of furniture to ensure it is in acceptable condition for delivery prior to loading.
• Assist with the truck loading, checking items against lease agreement.
• Assist with the delivery and installation of furniture within agreed upon time frame.
• Assist with the pickup of furniture at lease end.
• Assist with as directed to truck maintenance to ensure safe delivery vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 plus years of experience without a degree
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have valid state drivers license and safe driving record;
• Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Frequently is required to walk and climb or balance.

Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
