Job Description Summary
The electrician monitors, maintains, adjusts, and repairs electrical distribution systems owned or leased by the Medical University of South Carolina in order to ensure safety and reliability of emergency and normal power electrical systems.
This role requires a working knowledge of all electrical systems including, but not limited to, Generators, ATS, MCC, Drives, Motors, Distribution Center, and Distribution Panels.
Incumbent is Considered Essential Personnel in a disaster.

Job Description

Additional Job Description
Education : High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience : 3 years general or industrial electrical maintenance experience required.
Thermography license must be obtained within one year of hire date. Technical or Trade School in HVAC, Electrical, or Electronics and / or experience in electrical hospital maintenance is preferred.
