We are looking for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager with expertise in electrical system design, inspection, testing, and maintenance to join the AMZL Energy team.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of designing & improving electrical system maintenance programs & policies, proficient in creating inspection processes, and has the ability to perform analysis of trends in electrical system reports & internal / external audit findings related to electrical & related risks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Travel up to 60% of the time
- Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems at Delivery Stations (last mile), including audits of existing programs in compliance with local codes and global standards
- Partner with key stakeholders in changes to the electrical system maintenance programs, aligning with insurance requirements as applicable, including system inspections and testing
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
- Use computer-assisted engineering software to perform engineering tasks.
- Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testing
- Audit electrical system maintenance practices globally to identify deviations and corrective actions.
- Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutions
- Monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports, and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities, or immediate corrective actions to electrical systems.
- Support training and start-up of electrical system maintenance and impairment programs at new operations locations.
- Develop and implement procedures for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining performance of assets
- Partner with Internal Audit, Risk Management, Safety, and / or Real Estate to review internal and external audit .findings related to electrical and related risks, including building authority audits, insurance audits, and similar.
Key job responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with the requirements of technical guidelines, standards, policies and statutory requirements.
- Performs power system analysis and design including short circuit, power flow, coordination, arc flash, and harmonics analysis studies.
- Recommends process, product or service improvements to meet internal and / or external business challenges and / or regulatory issues.
- Contributes to the development of the team's functional strategy.
- Conducts equipment failure investigation and mitigation.
- Develops and implements procedures for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining performance of assets and operations.
- Participate in investigations of all electrical related incidents and propose remedial actions to prevent re-occurrence.

About the team
The AMZL Energy and Infrastructure team is responsible for delivering, maintaining, and powering the infrastructure needed to ensure our customers can be served by the lowest carbon intensive delivery fleet in the world.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, power systems, and signal processing.
- 5+ years experience with CAD software and electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer, PSpice).
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in electrical engineering (e.g., IEEE, IEC)
- 5+ years experience with embedded systems and firmware development.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Agile, Scrum).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- 5+ years experience to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
