Position Overview
The Regional Director of Operations supports the businessinternally and in the field, directing day-to day operation of the productionfacilities under their supervision.
The Regional Director of Operationsis responsible for operational effectiveness, financial performance, trainingand managing staff and other resources in their designated region.
Thisrole provides senior leadership, direction & decision-making for allproduction operations. The Regional Director is accountable to organize,execute and support the long-term strategic objectives of the organization andto ensure the delivery of high quality radio-pharmaceuticals and outstandingpatient care on behalf of PETNET Solutions, a multi-national, wholly-ownedsubsidiary of Siemens Molecular Imaging.
PETNET is the worldwide leaderin the manufacturing and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or positronemission tomography.
Emphasis is placed on siteperformance, financial monitoring, operational excellence, productivity,compliance and an overall culture of organizational efficiency.
Theposition is accountable or the operational effectiveness and execution of processimprovements required to delivering high quality radio-pharmaceuticals to aglobal network of customers.
The position reports into theSenior Director of US Operations for PETNET Solutions. It is part of thePETNET MI IM HC organization.
There are currently seven Regional Directorpositions and one Sr. Regional Director position in the group.
Responsibilities
- Leada regional network of radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution centerand manage the daily business operations including customer service andrelationships, product pricing, internal and external regulatory authorities,financial budgeting and performance and personnel recruiting and management.
- Implementshort and long term business strategies in support of PETNET's Mission, Visionand Strategy.
- Facilitatebusiness expansion efforts including site build out, staffing, equipmentpurchase and install, licensure and training
- Assurecompliance with all applicable regulatory standards including cGMP, radiationsafety, pharmacy laws, DOT, EHS, and internal policies and interpretations ofthe above
- Implementcost control and operational efficiency strategies that lower the COGS acrossthe regional network
- Deriveand implement cost control and operational efficiency strategies that lower theCOGS across the regional network
- Driveproductivity through implementation of new technology, products and processesinto daily operations
- Evaluatebusiness plans of new endeavors and new initiatives to improve the overalloperation and performance of the region
- Workcross functionally with sales, service and other supporting function tosuccessfully implement strategic initiatives
- Developand advance key strategic relationships including customers, vendors, hostinstitutions, Siemens partners, etc.
- Developleaders with the regional team to ensure continuous improvement and training ofproduction personnel
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education,and Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in thedevelopment and / or production of PET biomarkers used in Phase 3 clinical trialsor commercial operations
- Strong interpersonal, organizationaland managerial skills
- Excellent attention to detail in theexecution of job responsibilities
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasksin fast-paced environment
- 75% Travel as required to perform jobfunction
Preferred Knowledge / Skills, Education,and Experience
PharmD,B.S. or M.S. degree in chemistry, biology or related sciences
Masters degree in business ispreferred

The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-relatedknowledge, skills, and experience.
The annual incentive target is 20% of basepay. SiemensHealthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paidtime off and holiday pay.
