Summary :
The Physical Therapist has the responsibility andaccountability for assessing, planning, evaluating and implementingcare for the patients assigned physical therapy.
The PhysicalTherapist is responsible for adhering to all standards of PhysicalTherapy Practice Act as they apply to providing technical therapycare, supplies, equipment and interventions to a designated patientpopulation.
Responsibilities :
- Gathers pertinent data from chart and othercare givers; discusses with physician asnecessary
- Independently assesses all patienttypes as assigned
- Demonstrates ability torecognize additional needs during evaluation; exercises goodjudgment in decision making when requesting, scheduling and / orperforming additional testing
- Interpretsresults and formulates relevant, measurable, realistic andattainable goals
- Reassesses patient progressregularly per department and regulatory policy, or when needarises
- Identifies appropriate equipment,discusses with patient and family and makes
Requirements : Education / Skills
Education / Skills
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of PhysicalTherapy degree from an accredited college or university isrequired.
Licenses,Registrations, or Certifications
LPT License in state ofemployment
Work Type : Per Diem As Needed
