Title of Position : Event Sales Manager

Job Description :

The Sales Manager will increase event sales revenue by following our Sales Standards & Expectations, including executing outbound sales call requirements to drive awareness, implementing lead-generating strategies;

and identifying and pursuing target markets by monitoring venue and community demographics. The Event Sales Manager will manage event administrative requirements and logistics by developing and adhering to any contracts and confirmed agreements.

The Event Sales Manager works with internal departments and outside vendors and follows up to ensure that corporate standards of quality and service are met.

The Event Sales Manager should maintain a close working relationship with each event host; Including meeting and greeting the event organizer, following up with the event hosts to ensure satisfaction, and maximizing referrals.

Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to overall venue sales team revenue goals by meeting or exceeding personal sales quotas on a monthly (period), quarterly, and annual basis
  • Strive to deliver an unparalleled guest experience on the phone, via email and with in-person communication from the inquiry stage to post-event follow-up
  • Foster client relationships through ongoing communication with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Manage all assigned leads with the utmost sense of urgency and in accordance with the company’s lead response time standards
  • Create, manage, and confirm Event bookings using the Triple seat sales system including the documentation of all prospect and event client communication
  • Utilize established reports and dashboards to ensure personal sales Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are being met or exceeded
  • Be open and eager to learn new sales skills
  • Proactively strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
  • Proactively engage in outbound sales activity and networking in the community in adherence to established business development standards for the venue.
