VALET PARKING ATTENDANT
The primary role of the position is to park and retrieve automobiles for members and guests in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner.
In this role you will (but not limited to) :
- Greet guests in a polite, friendly manner
- Assist guests in and out of automobiles
- Direct guests to the appropriate location of the function they are attending
- Park automobiles in an organized fashion for efficient retrieval
- Issue and collect automobile claim tickets
- Inform guests of road and weather conditions, as well as any problems detected with the car (low fuel, breaks, etc.)
- Prevent unauthorized entry
Qualifications & Skills :
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work independently, as well as to accept and follow directions on given assignments
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to remain upright throughout an entire shift
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests
- Ability to operate motor vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions
- Organizational skills to ensure that keys are easy to retrieve and vehicles are simple to locate
- Ability to move quickly to reduce the wait for guests
- Knowledge of the area to answer guests’ questions
- Communication skills to interact with other Valets and provide instructions to guests
- Ability to move heavy objects to aid in the loading and unloading of vehicles
