Description

Providence is calling for Certified Nursing Assistant in Valdez, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Hours : Full-Time / Part-Time , Variable Shift

The Clinical Assistant is an expanded role for the Certified Nursing Assistant and functions as a member of the nursing staff, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse that focuses on performing functional tasks that maintain the orderliness of the nursing unit and contributes to the effective overall functioning of the clinical area.

Required qualification :

  • Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course.
  • Upon hire : Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Within 30 days of hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualification :

6 months as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care giver.
