Electronics Technician - Dallas, TX
- Modify, maintain, and install PLC programs, troubleshoot PLC problems, and update documentation and wiring.
- Install and rearrange machines and mechanical equipment in compliance with building codes.
- Dismantle, move, install, and repair conveyors, hoists, and other machinery.
- Use measuring devices to ensure proper positioning of machines and equipment.
- Analyze wiring diagrams and instructions for repair and installation tasks.
- Perform electronic repairs, including circuit modules and printed circuit boards.
- Maintain and repair refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, and related equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and write work orders as needed.
- Repair communication and power distribution cables, and perform electrical maintenance.
- Maintain inventory and maintenance records for electrical equipment.
- Advise staff on equipment procedures and safety protocols.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience :
- High school diploma required.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools and safety gear.
- Experience in heavy industrial settings, with expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Proficient in programming, troubleshooting, and repairing PLCs and VFDs.
- Familiarity with various PLC systems, such as Siemens, AllenBradley, and Rockwell.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience in manufacturing or equivalent training.
