RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Help in negotiating final prices with vendors.
- Help with preparation of reports, including the cost of completing monthly billings.
- Maintain updated status reports.
- Coordinate pricing work.
- Assist with draft changes and change orders and send for review to Project Manager.
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction during the project.
- Coordinate and help manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
- Schedule work, including subcontractors.
- Assist in monitoring productivity and timelines of subcontractors.
- Analyze mechanical, electrical, piping, plumbing and fire protection specifications for construction projects.
- Aid in the development of project schedule.
- Prepare estimates for each construction phase.
- Aid in deciding on qualified bidders.
- Oversee tool procurement and ensure they are delivered at specified times.
- Assist Project Manager in resolving complaints within the work force.
- Prepare progress reports, materials used and costs, etc.
- Adjust work schedules as needed after analyzing reports.
- Assist in maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to company regulations, industry standards, and job requirements.
- Generate continuous improvement reports.
- Provide traceability reports.
- Plan procedures for construction, including start and completion times.
- Oversee staffing needs for each phase of construction.
- Work with Project Manager to obtain potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Assist in the development of scopes of work.
- Determine materials and equipment needed and allocate resources accordingly.
- Obtain excellent supply sources.
- Oversee set up and close out for construction sites.
- Act as safety officer if one is not on-site.
- Participate in company safety portion of the QMS program.
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Associate’s degree or Technical Schooling required.
- Minimum 10 years of Construction experience.
- Experience within industrial industry desired.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- QMS and scheduling software experience.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, contracts, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with MS Project and all Microsoft applications.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required.

Salary : $85K-$100K annually
