We’re looking for a full-time software developer experienced with TypeScript for Angular applications.

We are a high-growth insurance brokerage expanding our capabilities into a broader InsureTech suite of tools (Inc 5000 company).

There are numerous development initiatives and new products in queue, and we can't wait to have a new addition to the team to help bring things to fruition!

This is an opportunity for someone smart and hard-working to work on projects that can drive business value.

We have a strong preference for someone in the Charleston, SC area so that they can most easily collaborate with the internal team, including one of the company co-founders.

More Specifically, What Are We Looking For?

• Clean, readable code
• Someone who thinks things through before writing that clean, readable code
• Good collaborator who enjoys exchanging ideas
• Understands the need and value of QA and processes to ensure quality and avoid midnight phone calls
• Organized and used to project management software as well as self-organizing their day (We use Asana)
• Bonus for experience with NodeJS, PHP, AWS (Aurora, Lambda, EFS, S3, Route53, API Gateway, CodeCommit, CodePipeline), I18N, L10N, UX Design, UI Design, and DJ-like instincts for the best song to play at any moment.

• Ideally here in our sweet office in Park Circle.
• Remote work is possible, but please note :
• We'll want to hear about your experience working remotely.
• We'll need some references to back that up (sorry - been burned before).
• You would need to travel to our office a few times per year.
• Local candidates in a hybrid role could work, too.

That's where you come in : our company is ready to expand our footprint, and we're looking for the right person to join us.

We don’t expect that you’ll know anything about surety bonds, and we’d be surprised if you know much about the insurance industry at all, but that’s fine.
