Position Summary
The Reconciliation Representative reconciles Point of Sale systems vs monetary (bank) transactions generated at Life Time locations.
This involves daily reconciliation of cash deposits, cash ordering and credit card deposits by business. Month-end responsibilities include bank account reconciliations.
New club responsibilities include assisting in set-up with ordering merchant numbers, armored car service and any necessary bank supplies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Researches and adjusts discrepancies with Club, Spa and Café cash, checks and cash orders
- Tracks and reconciles daily credit card close batches
- Assists in managing daily banking and money movement for the Company
- Reports and resolves technical issues regarding point of sale, credit card processing system, Workday and bank apps
- Orders merchant numbers, terminals, armored car service and bank supplies
Position Requirements
- 2 year degree in a related field
- Math / matching / reconciliation skills
- Communicate variances and issues to team and other functional areas
- Problem solving
- Developing skills in priority management and conflict resolution
Preferred Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in accounting or reconciliation
