We are seeking a Sr Field Application Engineer to be located in Austin TX. In this role you will play a pivitol part of Identifying opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy for Infinex.
What a typical day looks like :
- Qualify new opportunities through a combination of research and customer interactions
- Develops and maintains the business relationship by providing solutions for the company and its defined supplier(s) in a product line, to achieve the identified strategy and business financial objectives.
- Understand the customer's business model, cost constraints, design goals, and decision criteria
- Develop win strategies that leverage Infinex technology
- Determine the competitive landscape and effectively position Infinex
- Present solutions that align customer requirements
- Collaborate with Infinex BD and Product teams to maximize Infinex's impact with the customer
- Track and report metrics that measure and improve sales performance
- Work with Flex BUs GAMs, BDs, & Design Centers to improve Infinex product offering
The experience we are looking to add to our team :
- 8+ years experience working as an engineer in a customer facing capacity (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or other engineering background.
- Experience in a technical sales role, or, as a design engineer at an OEM
- Strong leadership, organization, time management, and business strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written) and experience delivering technical presentations with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.
- Works independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion.
May act as informal team lead and / or coach less experienced team members.
