We’re on the lookout for a visionary VP / SVP of Safety and Pharmacovigilance to lead our safety operations and shape the future of our clinical and commercial drug safety programs!
About the Role : As the VP / SVP of Safety and Pharmacovigilance, you’ll oversee all aspects of clinical and commercial drug safety.
You’ll lead a talented team and collaborate with cross-functional experts in clinical, regulatory, scientific, biometrics, and commercial teams.
Your role will involve strategic oversight, vendor management, safety signal assessments, and ensuring compliance with global safety regulations.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Lead medical safety and safety operations for all compounds in clinical and commercial stages.
- Manage safety reporting requirements across US, EU, and international territories.
- Oversee vendor deliverables and safety-related activities for clinical programs and approved products.
- Strategize safety risk management, signal detection, and benefit-risk assessments.
- Partner with clinical development to validate safety signals and manage health authority interactions.
- Contribute to regulatory submissions, safety reviews, and periodic safety reports.
- What We’re Looking For :
- Education : MD or PharmD with 10+ years of relevant experience in biotechnology or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience : Proven track record in leading safety and pharmacovigilance teams, managing vendor relationships, and navigating regulatory requirements.
- Skills : Strong strategic vision, excellent communication, and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
