Everyone is trying to harness the cloud, but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.

We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of toughest problems.

This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment using current cloud capabilities.

Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with our client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.

You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.

You’ll use your experience to guide your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud.

You Have :

10+ years of experience in IT applications or managing infrastructure and applications in an enterprise environment

4+ years of experience with managing applications within a Cloud Service Provider, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

Knowledge of networking, storage, computer, and database fundamentals

Knowledge of operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu, or Red Hat

TS / SCI Clearance

Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of experience in IT or Master's degree

IAT or IAM II or III Certification

Nice If You Have :

Experience with troubleshooting or deploying enterprise applications

Experience with developing or improving application architecture to ensure client needs are met

Experience with implementing enhancements to improve applications and systems performances

Experience with managing Containers or Virtual Machines

Experience with using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins

Experience with scripting tools, including Bash, PowerShell, JSON, and Python

Experience with Docker

Knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation, or IAC tools

Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and tools

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field preferred; Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field a plus

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
