About the Job :
The Cardiac Technician, under the direct supervision of the Manager of Cardiovascular Services and the general direction of the Medical Director of Cardiovascular services, performs the technical aspects of non-invasive testing and outpatient cardiac monitoring for Elliot Health System.
What You’ll Do :
Performs EKG for the neonate, infant, pediatric and adult population
Processes EKG’s in GE MUSE system accurately with attention to patient demographics, patient location & physician reader
Prepares patient and assists in duties specific to scope of practice for noninvasive stress testing
Prepares patient and assists in duties specific to scope of practice for Holter Monitor Testing, including processing Holter Monitor data
Reports EKG critical values & critical findings during testing to the On-call Cardiologist
Who You Are :
High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
BLS, Required or ability obtain immediately upon hire through Elliot
Epic experience, Preferred.
