Job Description
The Brook KMI is a -bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for adolescents, adults and seniors.
Our specialized treatment services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, pastoral counselors and activity therapists.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :
The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team who will assist with both Outpatient and Inpatient departments.
- Major job functions include : obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family / group therapy on assigned cases; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure;
- case coordination; coordinate discharge planning; assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned;
- assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security; ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care;
participate in continuing education activities.

Qualifications
Education :
Required : Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences
Licensure / Certification :
Must be licensed or under supervision in state of Kentucky (CSW / LCSW CADC / LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, LPP)
Experience :
Preferred : One to three years inpatient behavioral health work
