JOB DESCRIPTION
Performs duties associated with the physical storage and retrieval of materials in the Library Collections Annex (LCA).
- Uses industrial lifting equipment requiring specialized training and certification.
- Responsible for accuracy and consistency of materials accessioned into inventory control system.
- Uses digitization tools to produce and deliver copies of materials requested from Brown library users and members of other institutions.
- Provides library users with timely access to library materials through both physical delivery and digitization activities.
- Performs scanning and digitizing tasks associated with library services.
- Scans journal articles, book chapters and full length books on occasion.
- Processes digitized files, reviewing for quality and performs post processing activities, including uploading,downloading or delivering digital files
