ACARA Solutions and our defense client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract-to-direct hire position available.
Workspace Support Technician
$21.00-$23.00 per hour DOE
Min 1 year experience
- Performs various duties in support of end-point computing devices and peripherals.
- The primary responsibility of this position is to build and prepare computers to refresh end-user computers.
- During the refresh, respond to and diagnose problems and answer queries regarding computer hardware, software, printers, and networks.
- Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.
- Installs hardware and peripheral components, such as computers, network / telecom, monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.
- Loads and verifies correct operation of software packages, such as operating systems, word processing, and spreadsheet programs.
- Responsible for configuring desktop and laptop and thin client computers.
- Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software, and supplies.
- Displays high-performance attributes.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Workspace Support Technician.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications :
- Possess the necessary computer skills to handle routine tasks proficiently.
- Essential customer focus, communication, and collaborative skills consistent with expectations for the position
- Ability to work on routine assignments.
