SUMMARY The Chief Operating Officer will lead the internal daily planning, implementation, management, and oversight of CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions.
Reporting to the COO will be- Vice President In-Home Services, Vice President Customer Service & Community Outreach, Vice President Business Development, Human Resources, Senior Director Information Technology, Director Training & Development, Facilities, and Director Data and Research.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Overseeing internal operations : Collaborating with Vice Presidents and other internal stakeholders, drive operational efficiency in processes and procedures which result in delivering services to community members that allows agency to claim all available State and Federal revenue resources granted to us.
Creating & Implementing Plans : Develops and implements strategies, procedures, and business plans that drive the agencies twenty-year vision focused on creating an environment rich in the following areas : philanthropy, entrepreneurship, exceptional customer service, belonging, culture / morale building, compliance, and quality.
Managing finances : Ensure all service activities are entered into State data system to ensure agency reimbursement maximizes all State and Federal funding sources.
Ensure adequate non-traditional funding growth to fill funding gaps that exists from government funding sources. Guides and directs preparing and execution of the operating budget based on corporate goals and objectives.
Develop quarterly revenue and expense goals for all divisions & meet monthly with VPs to ensure revenue and expense goals are on-track.
Leading Staff : Responsible for staff leadership including performance management, coaching and mentoring to ensure leaders are driving an environment rooted in Integrity, Courage, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (ICARE) resulting in exceptional community member experiences.
Other duties as assigned.
Managing Programs : Responsible for the development and implementation of new programs and ensure new programs align to CICOA’s mission and vision.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university is required, preferably in business, engineering, project management, or public administration.
Master’s degree in business administration, social work, or public administration is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Must have 5-10 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or operations; preferably in a not-for-profit setting.
Must have 2 or more years of experience with project management or quality assurance / process improvement (QAPI).
