Summary :
Responsiblefor maintaining the building presses and associatedequipment.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Reducemaintenance repair and preventive maintenancecosts.
- Develop plans to reducebreakdownrelated downtime.
- Maintaina safe and clean workenvironment.
- Minimize downtimeassociated with repairs.
- Completeand file all required maintenancedocuments.
- Communicate effectivelywith other departments andshifts.
- Complete assignedpreventative maintenance activitiestimely.
- Participate in continuousimprovement and 8D problemsolvingprocesses.
- Perform other assignedduties.
KeyPerformanceMeasures :
- Downtimefor assigned machines andequipment.
- Cost reduction for repairand maintenance.
- Completion ofrequired maintenance records.
- Plantappearance relative to oil leaks and floorcleanliness.
MinimumQualifications :
- Readingand math skills (7th9th gradelevel).
- 13 years of plastic industrymaintenance experience including hydraulics andpneumatics.
- Ability to lift 50 lbsand supply own tools.
- Valid hilolicense.
- Knowledge of state andfederal environmental and OSHA lawspreferred.
- Good performancerecord.
- Demonstrate competencythrough testing and job performance aftertraining.
PhysicalRequirements :
- Regularuse of hands standing walking sitting andreaching.
- Occasionally climb balancestoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Lift upto 50 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbsregularly.
- Specific vision abilitiesrequired.
Flexibility :
Mayrequire afterhours phone calls orassignments.
