Job Description and Duties
The Criminalist Manager has overall responsibility for coordinating, planning, organization, direction, and management of the California Criminalistics Institute (CCI).
In addition, the Criminalist Manager has certain bureau-wide responsibilities in the areas of planning and policy. Oversees the operation of the institute to provide bureau staff, visiting scientists, and university students current and consistent classes in the areas of method development, and all aspects of forensic evidence collection and analysis, which are critical to meet the objectives of the Department of Justice (DOJ).
