Responsibilities

• Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.
• Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.
• Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.
• Read and follow order specification documents.
• Consistently work to develop or enhance your skill set.
• Work effectively with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals and expectations.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and write English.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills within a standard timeline.
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to mentally and physically perform at a high pace with a sense of urgency while maintaining company expectations of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
• Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a drug screen and physical abilities test.

Work Environment

Our facility is very large and can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. We operate various machines, including a 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, 3 Rotary Die Cutters, 3 Flexo Folder Gluers, 2 Platten Diecutters, and 4 Specialty Folder Gluers.

Employees must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

The facility operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington.
