What You Will Do
- Effectively communicate with project managers, maintenance, the legal department, and outside vendors regarding contract documents, change orders, other contract modifications, approvals, and additional services related to project contracting.
- Entry of projects and management follow-up, reporting, and analysis
- Perform day-to-day management of financial accounts.
- Collecting and analyzing data about the Company’s operational costs.
- Track costs associated with labor, raw materials, and suppliers. Prepare reports to evaluate the costs of inventory products.
- Assist in Accounts Receivable collections.
- Forecast costs and profit based on input from the operations team and executives.
- Ensure transactions are recorded correctly and timely.
- Advises executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
- Coordinate the information with external accountants.
- Assist in the management of employee benefits.
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of the company operations.
- Assist in managing a job costing system to track profitability and cash flow analysis.
- Assist with customers and vendors when needed.
- Support sales staff with purchase orders, shipping, and invoice management.
- Perform day-to-day management of financial accounts.
- Provide financial assistance to key decision makers promptly to various departments.
- Address customer / vendor queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage vendor purchasing, invoicing, and payment.
- Assisted in ad hoc tasks and performed other duties as needed.
Ideal Candidates :
- Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- Have 4-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Have mastery of QuickBooks online accounting software (required).
- Experience working in Construction or a similar field is preferred.
- Experience working for a CPA firm is preferred.
- Experience working in construction is an added bonus.
