Business Analyst Manager

Are you an experienced business analyst looking to play a strategic role in a digital transformation? In this newly created leadership role, you will be responsible for mentoring and assigning business analysts to projects, developing standards, templates, and guidelines, and monitoring your team’s performance.

You will bridge the gap between business and IT resources while working closely with project managers, developers, and business leads.

At times you may play a hands-on role with your team members in managing large, complex projects while also leading your team, clients, and stakeholders.

You will assist in validating requirements for multiple departments in our organization to ensure alignment.

Compensation :

$110,000 - $140,000 yearly DOE

Responsibilities :

• Creates forums for process improvement and alignment to strategic goals
• Assist the business with a cost-benefit analysis for proposed projects
• Develop and govern business analyst processes, practices, templates, and metrics
• Monitor requirement gathering to strategic plan and ensure they follow best practices and standards
• Hire, assign, and mentor team for requirement gathering and process improvement
• Conduct research and create proposals for system solutions / improvements
• Work with business and PMO Director to submit process improvement projects
• Ensure timely delivery of services provided by the Business Analyst team
• Maintain professional and technical skills of yourself and the BA team

Qualifications :

• Experience managing business analysts
• Solid communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization and external vendors
• Expert requirements gathering skills and solution proposal methodologies
• Resource Management - the ability to lead and manage high-performance teams and cultivate innovation in others
• Desire to build relationships with executives, vendors, customers, and other department leaders.
• Expertise in conflict management
• Aligns with Stakeholders and addresses areas of opportunity to optimize work processes
• SDLC / Scrum / ITIL knowledge
• Business & IT strategy experience
• Demonstrates core competencies of instilling trust, ensuring accountability, action orientated, and customer focused
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, or related field.

Additional Desired Qualifications :

• Ability to develop and deliver training to team and business
• General insurance knowledge
• CBAP / CSPO certification(s)
• Experience working with state / federal government projects
• Experience negotiating with vendors
• Experience writing proposals
• Wireframing or UX experience
