Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Civil / Structural Designer with 10+ years of experience to join our Salt Lake City Tetra Tech structural team.
Candidate should be able to oversee / perform the design of civil / structural activities on a project and coordinate with structural engineers to ensure that the construction design drawings are clear, understandable, buildable and error free.
Opportunities exist to manage projects and staff as proven success allows.
Your Role :
Participate in all aspects of industrial structural project design from concept studies through detail engineering and provide technical support during construction and commissioning
Qualifications :
- 15+ years' experience in structural engineering design.
- Experience designing concrete foundations and flatwork, building design, structural steel such as platforms and large equipment support structures.
- Expert working in AutoCAD required. Proficiency in Revit or Civil3D is a plus.
- Ability to direct less-senior designers.
- Experience in the design of industrial facilities with knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (ASCE, AISC and ACI).
- Candidate must have experience with industry standard QAQC procedures and the ability to redline design drawings.
- A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
