Veterinary Specialty Services is looking to add a talented experienced Veterinary Technician to our Cardiology team at our Manchester hospital.
This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule each week that will include weekend work. Our specialty technicians work directly with our board-certified Cardiologist to provide advanced patient care and excellent client communication.

No experience in Cardiology required! We will ensure you receive all the training, education and mentorship needed to succeed in this position.
We are offering a $500 hiring bonus for experienced technicians!!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Running patient anesthesia - including intubating patients, IV catheter placement, patient monitoring and recovery.
- Properly perform medical treatments on hospitalized patients including administering PO, IM, Sub Q and IV medications
- Observing patients and recognize subtle changes in status
- Performing drug calculations including CRI calculations and calculating fluid rates.
- Assist with appointments - ensure previous records and diagnostic history is received, obtain patient history, obtain vitals, etc.
- Client communication and follow up.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide client updates
- Assist with communications and follow up to referring veterinarians
Requirements
- Two to five years of previous Veterinary Technician experience.
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technology Program and current RVT license is required.
- Cardiology experience is not required, however candidates must have a desire to learn!
