What you will be doing :
- Manage a caseload of 30-40 cases acting as the lead attorney from filing through trial.
- Should be managing a caseload including taking / defending motions, drafting motions, discovery, etc.
- Develop case strategies and theories.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions including plaintiff, defendant, experts, and more.
- Engage in settlement negotiations.
- Act as the second chair in trials.
- Maintain client communication to provide updates on case progress.
- Oversee and direct Paralegal and other support staff.
Experience you will need :
- 3-7 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
- Experience managing a caseload including taking / defending motions, drafting motions, discovery, etc.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active California bar membership in good standing.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a caseload and resolving cases for high value.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
