Our client is seeking High School Special Education Resource Teacher (Math Endorsement) in Maricopa County, AZ.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICIATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
- AZ Teacher certification with Math endorsement.
CLIENT REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prior experience in special education or teaching, especially at the high school level.
- Familiarity with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and Arizona state laws related to special education.
- Understanding of various disabilities and how they impact learning and behavior.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide specialized instruction in math and other subjects, using evidence-based strategies tailored to students' individual needs.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' academic progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress, IEP meetings, and assessments.
