Vicksburg Community Schools, a premier K-12 public school district in southern Kalamazoo county, is accepting applications for a High School Science Teacher for the 2024 / 2025 school year .
Our District serves over 2600 students in one high school, an alternative high school, one middle school, and three elementary schools and employs approximately 160 teachers and 200 other employees to meet the needs of our students.

Qualifications :
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with 6-12 Certification
- State of Michigan Science (DX,DI) endorsement
- Ability to work with a team and have objectivity and openness to others views
- Must possess excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Ability to accept and apply feedback to improve performance
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent attendance history and strong work ethic.
- Must support the districts and school building’s goals, mission, and values
- High school teaching experience preferred
- Additional core subject endorsements preferred
