Chief of Staff

The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a growing tech startup in the Los Angeles area to hire a Chief of Staff (COS). Alongside the CEO and COO, the COS will enable communication, collaboration, and strategy execution across the company.

Early stage b2b Software experience as a Chief of Staff is critical to this role. this is a strategic position that requires deep understanding of SaaS operations and metrics;

this is not an administrative role.

The ideal candidate will be a sharp critical thinker who can solve large business issues and communicate effectively. You will develop a deep understanding of the critical success factors of a high-growth company and gain experience further scaling an already large organization.

What You'll Do :

• Influence cross-functional projects and project management, including performance reporting
• Facilitates conversations, drives alignment, and builds support
• Craft Board and C-suite level presentations and memos
• Identify areas for efficiency and improvement in all initiatives
• Support the CEO and COO in organizing inspiring and informative All Hands meetings to share important business information with the company as well as engage and boost team morale
• Work with the Communications team to design and develop presentations and speaking points for internal and external audiences
• Organize discussion points, to-dos, follow-ups, and draft thoughtful correspondence
• Manage weekly leadership meetings to encourage productive dialogue and focus
• Anticipate requests for additional information, support with additional research or information analysis, and surface key takeaways to ensure content is presented in a digestible format)
• Build relationships across the organization to fully understand the health of the business and our people

Who You Are :

• Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
• 6+ years of project management or consulting experience in a large corporate setting
• High-level, top-tier consulting firm experience highly desired
• Experience in a Chief of Staff Role in an Early Growth Stage Software Business is mandatory
• Strong analytical rigor with quantitative capabilities
• Effortless storytelling, communication, and synthesis abilities
• Ability to execute autonomously and lead complex initiatives with minimal oversight or direction
• Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to deal with and operate effectively in the presence of ambiguity
• Must be comfortable working under pressure, and in a time-sensitive, and rapidly evolving environment
• Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, curious, and driven by a new challenge
• Expert-level knowledge of Google Sheets and Google Slides
