2nd Shift Manufacturing CNC Production Supervisor

General Responsibilities : Overall responsibility for the Manufacturing assembly lines, CNC Machines and technicians to ensure a safe work environment, product quality, accuracy, and productivity goals are met daily.

This position is for 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, 4 : 00 PM - 2 : 30 AM.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Supervise the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
• Guide and coach employees, monitoring their safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity. Accomplish staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
• Maintain employee timecards for verifying attendance, hours, and approving timecards.
• Oversee safe use of equipment and ensure employees are using correct personal protective equipment.
• Ensure all firearm transactions and company transfers are properly administered in a timely manner.
• Provide help with work orders.
• Ensure all quality checks, product assembly checks, and quality standards are maintained and followed to ensure quality components and finished goods.
• Provide training & guidance to manufacturing employees on processes to ensure quality standards & productivity rates are met.
• Direct employees after each assignment to eliminate downtime.
• Cross training in all areas within manufacturing.
• Help evaluate material review board items & disposition to re-work or scrap.
• Evaluate and post all performance metrics daily in the Daily Production Report.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized work area and manufacturing floor.
