Sentara Norfolk General hospital is hiring for a FLEXI Mammography Technologist.
Shift : This is a FLEXI position primarily for Saturday but would have the option to pick up weekday shifts as needed by the department.
Saturday hours are currently 745am-12 with option to expand later hours. Weekday hours are from 630am to 5 pm. Weekend shifts only perform screening mammograms.
Position Details and Requirements :
Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures. Perform all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies.
Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.
Required Education :
Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
Licenses and Certifications
Required : ARRT registry in Mammography, ARRT registry in Radiography, Basic Life Support. ARRT Registered or Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.
