About The Role
As the Chief of Staff at Tarjimly, you will play a critical role in supporting the Executive Director, the leadership and Board of Directors, across a wide range of strategic and operational activities.
You will act as a key advisor, ensuring that the organization's goals are met, and that internal processes are streamlined.
Your role will involve strategic planning, stakeholder management, project management, and enhancing cross-functional team collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning : Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to develop and maintain strategic roadmaps, track progress towards organizational goals, and ensure alignment across all teams.
- Project Management : Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with Tarjimly's mission and objectives.
- Stakeholder Management : Act as a liaison between the Executive Director, leadership team, Board of Directors and external stakeholders, including partners, funders, and donors.
- Operational Efficiency : Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and implement solutions to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
- Communication : Prepare and deliver materials for key meetings, presentations, and reports. Ensure clear and consistent communication across the organization.
- Fundraising Support : Assist in the development of fundraising strategies, donor outreach, and relationship management.
Work closely with the Development Officer to ensure alignment with fundraising goals.
- Team Collaboration : Foster a positive and collaborative team culture. Support in organizing team meetings, town halls, and other culture-related activities.
- Data & Impact Reporting : Analyze and share key metrics and impact data with the leadership team to inform decision-making and track progress.
Desired Experience & Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in a strategic or operational role, preferably in the non-profit, social impact, or tech sectors.
- Experience in project management, strategic planning, or business operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in GSuite and other productivity tools.
- A passion for humanitarian work and experience in the refugee or migrant sectors is a plus.

Initial contractor / consultant position with extension and conversion to full-time based on performance.
Salary range : $75k-$120k / yr.
Fully Remote Position : US preferred. Must be able to travel to the US for conferences and events.
Benefits : 21 days PTO / year. Flexible hours with responsiveness to messages and emails during EST working hours, in addition to availability to conduct online meetings during EST working hours.
Team Meetings : Weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11am EST.
